The Campaign - Day Five

Friends! Whitneyites! Countrymen! Lend me your eyes.
Yes, it's yet another day of campaigning, and hardly any of you are registered to vote. You can't hide from me any more. I got the official registration list, and it's pretty sad. You folks need to rock the vote. If I need to get Sean "Puffy" In and his "Vote Or Die" team to personally come to your house and force you to register, well, let's just say it remains an option.
I was planning to talk about the Sadies meeting held today at lunch by the freshmen (that's us) and sophomore Inner Councils. Unfortunately, I had to retake a math test due to my illness a week or so back. So, sucks for me.
However, I've been talking to the sophomores all the rest of the week, and, between the both of our cabinets, we've come up with some pretty crazy ideas that should set this Sadies apart from other dances. Let's just say that, at this point, Nerf guns are involved. You're not going to find Nerf guns at Winter Formal.
I feel some of the momentum of my campaign is slipping away, so I'm coming back on Monday, guns a-blazin', with new necklaces/badges/lanyards/thingies for everyone, and aggressively campaigning. Speeches are on Wednesday (so is the last chance to register), voting is on Thursday, results are on Friday. Saturday lacks plans because Saturday is a total slacker.
And I shall ensure harsh words are exchanged with certain ASB members in honor of the people who actually attempted to register, but couldn't find registrars in the quad. Don't let anybody say I don't fight for the people.

Today's Helpful Hint From Will: Alright, so, the weekend is upon us. Time to rent some old movies! Well, you probably won't do that, but, just in case you do, I have recommendations for every genre. Science fiction? Alien. Drama? The Godfather. Horror? Actually, also Alien. Comedy? Airplane. Romance? Go away, I've given you six hours of viewing pleasure. I can't stand romances anyway.

  • Okay, anonymous person. While I can't promise such a thing (the ASB uses a democratic process in the selection of dance themes), I'll lobby for one. And, while it would be tough to convince people to go for it for Winter Formal (it's a little formal), I bet I could hook you up with it for next year's Sadies. But I like the idea.
